MINT Public Service Fund Information and Application

We are no longer accepting applications for 2024 MINT Events funding.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTONS:

We invite you to consider applying for financial support to attend the 2024 MINT TNT or MINT Forum in Christchurch, New Zealand.  MINT has a Public Service Fund (PSF) that supports a limited number of people who wish to participate in the TNT and/or Forum and have limited funds to do so. These funds are intended for people:

  • who live in areas that have no or few MI trainers
  • who work with a specific group that is not getting service and needs it (e.g., marginalized populations, people with disabilities, and indigenous peoples, immigrant/refugee populations)
  • who are from under represented populations in MINT, including marginalized populations, people with disabilities and Indigenous peoples
  • whose salaries are such that the TNT/Forum is out of their reach.
  • who need child/elder care to support their attendance at the TNT/Forum
  • where practitioners are poorly or not at all funded for continuing education

All applications are reviewed by three reviewers without your identifying information (name, address, email address, etc.). The reviews are based on your reasons for attending the 2024 TNT and/or Forum and your reported financial need. The review committee will make sure the financial support goes to those in greatest need
