In Person Two Day Introduction to MI Training
Join Alan Siebel, LPC, a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), in Klamath Falls Oregon for a transformative two-day introduction to Motivational Interviewing (MI) course. This engaging and interactive training will provide participants with a solid foundation in the principles and techniques of MI, an evidence-based approach proven to help individuals make positive behavior changes. Over the course of two days, participants will learn ways to start to utilize MI skills such as open-ended questions, reflective listening, affirmations, and summarizing to help facilitate behavior change in their clients. Through hands-on exercises, video demonstrations, real-play, case studies, and group discussions, participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice their MI skills under the guidance of Alan Siebel. By the end of this course, the intention is participants will leave with a deeper understanding of MI and how they may start to apply it in the settings they work in. Whether you are new to MI or looking to enhance your existing skills, this introductory course is designed to empower helping professionals with practical tools they can immediately begin to apply in their work. Course cost is $275 in addition to processing fees.
