Brief Introduction to Motivational Interviewing
During this four hour online workshop, participants will learn about the basics of Motivational Interviewing (MI) including understanding the foundations of MI, the Spirit, and the fundamental skills This offering is gearted toward therapists, social workers, peer counselors, graduate students and helpers in social work, psychology, and related fields. This workshop's content will reflect the most recent edition of Motivational Interviewing (4th Edition, 2023). Four continuing education credits are offered to licensed Indiana practitioners and can be submitted to their professional board for reciprocity in states other than Indiana. This training will have both didactic and experiential components. Cost: $50 (early bird special), after April 10th: $75. Marian Rigsbee and Roxy Vandendries will be be co-training.
