Foundations of MI: 7-Week Skills Building Intensive
This is a weekly 2-hour, intensive training across 7 sessions. The training is a highly interactive, experiential-based learning format aimed at honing fundamental skills of MI. The series sequentially moves through the four MI processes. We cover the relational and technical aspects of these processes demonstrating how they guide clients toward behavioral change.. Attendees will engage in real/role play exercises to learm and practice MI skills such as open-ended questions, affirmations, reflections, and summaries and related skills such as evoking and responding to change talk, and reducing sustain talk and discord
