So... you have taken basic training in Motivational Interviewing, but feel like you aren’t yet fluent in MI?

This course is all about SKILLS PRACTICE. (Hence, the title, Skills Lab). Experiential education, ya’ll! We learn best by doing! A significant amount of each session will be spent in actually doing or observing skills practice. You’re gonna complete this course with more confidence in your ability to ‘speak MI!’

In this 4-week (10 hour) series that meets Wednesdays 12:00-2:30pm EST beginning May 4, 2022, we are going to dive into PRACTICE. You will complete this course feeling more fluid in utilizing OARS skills throughout the 4 Processes of MI. Each session is LIVE VIRTUAL, with a mix of presentation, practice, videos & audio samples and Q&A via Zoom platform. All weekly sessions are recorded for your viewing, and available to be viewed prior to the next session (so don’t worry if you miss a week!).
