Introduction to Motivational Interviewing Two Day Training
This course is designed to give the participant an introduction to the key principals and concepts of Motivational Interviewing (MI). This course will provide participants an overview of the principles, and skills of MI. Participants will be guided through a sequence of learning activities to explore and shape their helping practice, and to initiate a process for developing proficiency in MI. Learning activities will include: demonstrations, videotape examples, “realplays,” fictional case studies, small group exercises, and participant practice with feedback. This course is endorsed for eleven CEU's from the Oregon Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and endorsed for eleven CEU's from the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon. There is an addtional $25 charge for CEU Certificate.
