Abstract

Responds to comments by S. Rollnick (see record 2001-09576-018), W. R. Miller (see record 2001-09576-019), N. Heather (see record 2001-09576-020), and R. Longabaugh (see record 2001-09576-021) that addressed C. Dunn et al's (see record 2001-09576-001) review examining the effectiveness of brief behavioral interventions adapting the principles and techniques of Motivational Interviewing (MI) to four behavioral domains: substance abuse, smoking, HIV risk, and diet/exercise. The current authors reply to the various issues that were raised by the commenters. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)
