This training will provide a brief review and practice of Motivational Interviewing spirit, structure, and skills followed by a discussion about the group process. Group work provides several important steps that help break the isolation often experienced by the people we serve. This training will also provide information on the issues and treatment for special populations (adolescents, young adults, poverty, gender, addiction, low-income families, parents, etc.) through the use of support groups in treatment.

Six hour intermediate motivational interviewing training on integrating MI for a group format. The training hours are NCSAPPB approved six hours evidenced based practice (EBP).
