This 2-day workshop will interest people in diverse settings and circumstances where conversations about change are an everyday reality – healthcare, leadership, sport, coaching, addiction services and beyond.  This workshop will build on introductory-level training in MI and support you in advancing your skills. You will have opportunities to practice and receive feedback. The workshop will include a deeper exploration of:

• The spirit and intention – partnership, acceptance, compassion and empowerment with a focus on accurate empathy

• The core skills  - OARS

• The four tasks – engaging, focusing, evoking and planning

• Deepening reflections

• Helpful advice giving.

• 2 full days of in-person workshop-based training
