2016 MINT+ program

Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, Planned Learning Unified System (MINT+)

August 28, 2016

Dear MINT TNT Participant,

Congratulations on your acceptance and registration to the 2016 Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers’ annual Training of New Trainers in Montreal.   As an international network, we have found great value from learning and connecting with other professionals across the globe.  With this in mind, we began a mentoring program in 2014 known as MINT PLUS.  The program was conceived, designed and piloted in order to assist TNT participants in finding professional mentors within the network. The MINT+ offers ongoing professional support to continue the learning process.

As a TNT participant, you are invited to be part of the 2016 MINT+ program, which offers participants an opportunity to be partnered with a pre-existing MINT member (also referred to as a MINT Guide or MINTor) who values service to MINT and possesses practical skills and experiences.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please review the below expectations for participation and fill out the application linked below. We have limited availability for participation, so if you are not chosen, it may only reflect decisions related to capacity. Additional details will be provided once participants have been selected.

With this electronic application, you must include a one-paragraph written overview of your professional and personal experiences and values (biography), as well as an electronic photograph of yourself. Unfortunately, without these two items we will not be able to include you in this year’s event.  These documents will be used to introduce and pair you with a pre-existing MINT member for continued learning following your TNT.

Please (1) complete the online application and (2) email your bio and photograph to Jennifer Luther at jluther@coreservices.us.

Looking Forward to the Possibilities,

Jennifer D. Luther, Chair
Margo Bristow, Vice Chair
MINT+ Committee
